Lessons Learned
- Developers appreciate a pro-active approach - show them how you will make it easy for them
- Leave flexibility for developers - allow them to define what green areas they want to focus on
- Provide financial incentives for the developer - even easing cash flow, which does not cost you much, is a great help to the developer
- Provide market information - they won't build it unless you help demonstrate to them that they can sell it
- "Sell" your RFP - don't just send it out and hope for responses
